DATAS Technology has implemented a remote loan service project for OTP Bank

The DATAS Technology team has developed a service for providing loans online for the leading bank of Ukraine “OTP Bank”.

Recently, our team has completed a complex project based on Siebel CRM for OTP Bank for the service: remote loan service to individuals for consumer goods.

Thus, the largest bank in Ukraine has invested in the ability to provide loan services to its customers online promptly, that will allow OTP Bank to reduce the time for processing procedures, including signing documents.

The solution implemented by DATAS specialists makes it possible to minimize the physical presence of customers in bank branches, and this is an important option in the context of the imposition of a local restriction during a pandemic.

Now the client can choose the product he/she likes on the websites of internet shops, partners of OTP Bank, and buy it on credit or get a cash loan on a bank card without leaving home. Technically, the bank will apply for a consumer loan online. And in case of a positive decision to issue a loan, the client will be able to confirm his intention and sign the contract electronically by entering an SMS password, sent to his phone from OTP Bank.

The mechanism of this solution assumes the possibility for the client, after the conclusion of the contract, to have access to his documents online. In addition, these documents will be sent by the bank to the client’s personal mail.

The solution was implemented in accordance with the current legislation and is absolutely safe for the client.

“For a dynamically developing bank, the ability to transfer its services online is very important. This improves the quality of the bank’s interaction with customers, helps to speed up the provision of services, especially when we are talking about purchasing of consumer goods on credit. In such cases, it is important for the client to receive funds promptly and make a purchase at a convenient time for him, without adjusting to the work of the bank. “Remote loan service is undoubtedly a step forward, which improves the customer service”, said Irina Tarabanko, head of the department of development of IT systems for retail lending at OTP Bank.

This service became possible in OTP Bank due to the experience and qualifications of the team of certified specialists of DATAS Technology.
