DATAS TECHNOLOGY LAUNCHED THE NEWEST VERSION OF ORACLE FLEXCUBE 14 ABS IN INDUSTRIAL OPERATION IN XALQ BANK, AZERBAIJAN

Xalq Bank (Baku, Azerbaijan) has successfully switched to the newest 14th version of the automated banking system Oracle FlexCube with the assistance of Datas Technology. This is the first successful launch of Oracle FlexCube 14 in Azerbaijan and the entire former CIS.
For the first time in the post-Soviet space, Oracle FlexCube was launched on the Oracle Exadata hardware and software system. That allowed to significantly increase the performance and speed of the system. The closing of an operating day in the entire bank takes only a couple of tens of minutes, which is an important factor, given the country’s curfew.
The main part of the project ended up in a difficult year 2020, with its lockdowns, border closings and remote work, but despite such dramatically difficult conditions, the teams of Datas Technology and Xalq Bank managed to meet the project deadlines and successfully launch the system on time thanks to their high professionalism and incredible dedication to the project’s goals. both from the side of the Bank’s team and from the side of the Datas team.
For most of the project, the team worked remotely, which did not prevent the employees of Datas Technology and Xalq Bank from successfully communicating thanks to the established communication channels and timely decisions taken in the current difficult situation.
Credit organization “Xalq Bank”, a major player in the retail and corporate banking market of Azerbaijan, is experiencing a significant and rapid growth in business volumes, which would be difficult without an increase in the productivity and functionality of the ABS.
Thanks to cooperation with Datas Technology, the Bank received a system that will allow to implement all the organization’s ambitious plans for growth and development, as well as a new toolkit to improve the quality of customer service and reduce operating costs.
